We’re delighted to announce that The Fairway Brasserie will officially be joining us at Scraptoft Golf Club this April. We look forward to welcoming them and sharing this exciting new chapter with our members and guests. As we prepare for this transition, we’ll be saying a fond farewell to Joe, Kelly and Kim on Saturday 28th February, and we thank them for all their hard work and dedication. From Tuesday 3rd March, the Bar staff will be offering a small selection of freshly prepared sandwiches, alongside Clarke’s sausage rolls and pasties, plus delicious homemade cakes from Dhillons Delights Cake Shed. We appreciate your support during this period of change and look forward to seeing you at the Club soon.

We played our first match of the season on 1st April away at Whetstone and suffered a close fought 3-2 loss. Well done to our 2 winners Dan&Steve and Carl & Stewart.

Monday 11am - 6pm Tuesday 11am - 10pm Wednesday 11am - 9pm Thursday 11am - 9pm Friday 11am - 9pm Saturday 10:30am - 9pm Sunday 10:30am - 6pm *Please note hours may fluctuate due to course usage or function bookings.

From April 1st to the end of September, Tuesdays will be a day for members and members guests only. Booking will be via the Club V1 casual tee booking. Tee times will be restricted to 3 balls to help with pace of play. White Tee Medal (Weekly Net & Gross prizes with an eclectic running over the year) Yellow Tee Stableford (Weekly Net prizes and an Order of Merit) Ladies Stableford (Net Prizes) Competition entry is £4 plus an optional 2’s sweep in each competition, all entry fees will be used for prizes Ladies will have a competition tee reservation for their trophy competitions, plus eligible Ladies may play in casual times and enter the trophy competition with prior notice. Open to all membership categories with a WHS handicap. Midweek Captains, Presidents & Pro’s Day will also be held on Tuesdays and will have prizes in Handicap Divisions, Seniors and Ladies Sections. Competition entry is optional but encouraged. For the later starters, look out for ‘Joes’ Specials’ that can be pre ordered before you play.

The ladies played their home match in the Taskers Trophy against Melton today. They won with a score of 4 and a half to 2 and a half. We'd already played them at Melton on 29th March and won 5 - 2. This means the overall result was 9 and a half to 4 and a half.

Mixed Carnoustie Foursomes against Charnwood Forest GC on Wednesday 30th April 2025. Mixed Match Team Players: Neil Randle Shirley Bright Dominic Envis Cathryn Hoyland Result: We had 2 great games that swung back and fourth against some very good players but just fell short at the end. Both pairs lost 3 down so overall 6 down. They played well against a very strong Charnwood team. The team did the club proud and were great to watch!
